He married Leora Mae Pierce 15 November 1941 in Price, Carbon, Utah.

Together they had the following children:

He married Marcella Van Winkle 05/08/1935-02/20/1998
Him and Marcella took some of his children on vacation on a cruise. On their way back home their Motor Home was in a fatal accident killing them and three of Clemont's children and a son-in-law. It was a very tragic day for the Atwood families.

Hurricane - Clemont Antone Atwwod, 75, and Marcella Van Winkle Atwood, 63, returned to their Heavenly Father together Friday, Feb. 20, 1998, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Clemont was born in Cleveland to William James Atwood amd Laura Darcus Cramer. He married Leora Mae Pierce of Wellington Nov. 15, 1941. Following her death, he married Marcella Van Winkle Grimm March 23, 1996 in the Manti LDS Temple. She was born May 8, 1935 in Minnesota to Wayne and Esther Van Winkle.
Survived by children, Ronald (Mary) Atwood, Orem; Brent (Sheree) Atwood, Cedar City; Gary (Tricia) Atwood, Roy; Ruthann (Jay) Dinkleman, Wellington; Alva 'Smokey' Clark, Wellington; David, Duane, Deb and Jeffery Grimm, Minnesota; 45 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; one brother, Melrose Atwood, Wellington; and one sister. Aljean (Mark) Loving, Minnesota. Two daughters and a son-in-law, Cleora Mae Clark, Wellington; Karen and Joseph Lamar Jewkes, Sandy; also perished in the accident.
Funeral services will jointly be conducted Thursday, Feb 26, 10 a.m., at the Wellington LDS Stake Center, 935 East Main. A viewing will be Wednesday, Feb 25, 6 to 8 p.m., at Fausett's Mortuary, 695 E. 100 South, Price, and at the Wellington LDS Stake.
