Lutheran Clergyman
Fødsel 24 May 1930
Camrose, Alberta
Dåb
24 Aug 1930
Camrose Lutheran Church
Baptized by Reverend Max Mathiesen.
In 2009, Eric writes: 'I actually have two baptismal certificates. The one, in Danish, was issued by Max Mathissen for my baptism on Aug. 24, 1930. The other, issued by Veldey when he brought camrose Lutheran's data up to date he obviously made a mistake because it clearly says, 1931. I remember both he and Vinge saying that the records were a mess when they began to work on them. As to location Veldey's cert. says 'in Camrose Lutheran Church. The one issued by Mathissen has a stamp on the cert. that says 'Ansgar Danish Lutheran Church'.'
(At that time, Rev. Mathiesen, the pastor at Ansgar Danish Lutheran Church in Edmonton' would go to Camrose and hold services in Danish in Camrose Lutheran Church, so Eric was probably baptized in Camrose on one of these visits by Rev. Mathiesen.)
