My father's dates are b. 16 Jan 1917, d. 2 Dec 1994. My mother, Carroll's dates are b. 23 Oct 1934 Sullivan co MO, d. 20 Jan 1981. I know they were married the day after Thanksgiving in 1955 but have not yet found the date. Again, I remember what a pain it was to prove my parents marriage after my mom died. I went down to the county and they had no record and convinced me that my parents had never got married and then my dad went to the church and got the marriage certificate from them. All that trouble and I did not keep the certificate and I do not even know which church it was. Live and learn.
