1926-2003 Virginia Marlar, Overland Park, KS, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2003. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Virginia will be remembered by all who knew her as a warm, generous, kind, and caring person who brought joy to everyone she knew. Virginia was born in Kansas City, MO, and lived in Overland Park for the past 40 years. She worked for many years at Constable Hodgins Printing Company, where she had many friends. Her family was always her first priority and will fondly recall the memorable holiday celebrations in her home. She was married for 48 years to her loving husband, Donald R. Marlar, who predeceased her. She is survived by her son Don Marlar, Overland Park; daughter and granddaughter Mary Marlar and Megan Virginia, of Santa Clarita, CA; sister Darlene Barns; and three brothers, David, Stanley, and Gary Marquess. At Virginia's request, no funeral service has been planned.
