'My second great-grandmother, Christina Christensen Mainz (b. 14 Aug 1865) in Hejls, Vejle, Denmark was the youngest daughter of Christen and Mette. Christina married Nels Larson in Todd County, Minnesota and had a large family before she passed away in 1909. I am interested in finding more about Christina's family if I can.'

Christina's aunt, Elsabeth Kirstine Mainz, immigrated into Minnesota 1876:

'It seems possible that Christina could have stayed with her aunt Elsabeth and her husband when she arrived from Denmark. The town of Blooming Prairie is south of Minneapolis, where a lot of the immigrants first arrived by train.'
