She lived in Alexandria, VA, for 36 years, and attended Sorbonne University in France. She came to the U.S. during the 1950's and worked with the Thomas Cook Travel Agency as its East Coat Regional Manager before retiring in 1991.
Wife 46 years of Gerald Francis Ryan; she is also survived by daughters, Lyn Kathleen Johnson of Virginia and Jennifer Ann Turnbull of Connecticut; sister, Birte Kok of Denmark; grandchildren, Ryan, Aric, Krysten, Robert, Cory, Kirstie, & Cameron, and other relatives.
